Abstract

The condition of the platform at the Kemayoran station is considered not to be able to meet the needs of train travel that passes at the station. This can be seen from the length of the platform which is still too short so that there are 2-4 train sets that do not get a platform. In addition, the Level of Service (LOS) on platforms 1 and 2 which serves up and down passengers is still worth 0.3 m2/pnp (for platform 1) and is worth 0.2 m2/pnp (for platform 2). This shows that both platforms are at level F where passengers queuing are standing with direct physical contact between people, the density is very uncomfortable, there is no room for movement in the queue, and there is a potential for an exit route in urgent conditions. Based on this, it is necessary to make efforts to fulfill the needs of the platform length in accordance with PM 29 of 2011. The method used in this study is the manual survey method, namely by obtaining data directly by observing in the field. The condition of the existing platform at Kemayoran Station can be improved by extending the platform to a minimum of 246.4 meters on platforms 1 and 2 according to the length of the longest circuit that stops at Kemayoran Station. The proposed extension of the platform at Kemayoran Station aims to fulfill passenger services from the aspect of comfort and operating facilities according to the standards that have been regulated.
