Abstract

Domestic transportation has a very essential position for society, especially supporting the movement of individuals, goods and services from one place to another place (origin) to another (destination). Transportation is not a goal but a means to an end that seeks to overcome the gap between distance and time. Over time transportation users want the formation of a transportation system that is highly capable,reliable, and implemented in an effective, integrated, safe, comfortable, smooth, and safe manner in encouraging and moving the dynamics of development and supporting population mobility. Based on the results of the survey and the recapitulation of the Rail Road Material Data (DMJR) the condition of the infrastructure for the traffic can be said to be less than optimal, due to widespread damage to rail components such as defective rails, broken bearings, missing fasteners, insufficient ballas volume, and mud pumping. So it will reduce the service quality of the railroad components, so that the evaluation of damage to the components of the Sidoarjo-Bangil.
