Abstract

A train is a railway facility with a means of movement, either running alone or in combination with other railway facilities. The Bogor – Sukabumi route is a new route, with some already using double tracks and some still using single tracks with a total length of 57 km and 10 active stations. In this crossing, there are problems related to the geometry of the rail road and the exact material between Cisaat station - Sukabumi station, namely ballast. There is a gradual decrease in the volume of ballast which gradually changes the composition of the rail material which results in changes in the geometry of the railroad so that it can endanger the train journey. The improvements made are subgrade improvement with the method of injecting cement (grouting), ballast cleaning on the cross, after that the ballast is sifted and separated, the handling of ballast settlement is carried out by installing sheet piles with dimensions of depth 6 m width 40 cm along 800 m number of sheets.
