Abstract
The Double-Double Track project consists of several scopes of work, including rail roads, buildings, structures, and operating facilities. The construction is carried out without stopping the operation or traffic of the train at the station, therefore it is necessary to switch over. To find out the impact of the implementation of the switch over on the operating pattern, it is necessary to study the changes that occur both from the infrastructure aspect and the operational aspect. The results showed that Switch Over 5 Manggarai resulted in changes in infrastructure both from the layout of the emplacement, the number of lanes which were originally 11 lanes was reduced to 10 lanes, the radius of 1A of the Upper 1A which was originally R 200 was increased to R 296, , the number and layout of signals, the detection of trains from track circuit into axle counter, and activation of a new point machine. The change in infrastructure resulted in a change in the KRL travel route, namely the Bekasi Line KRL which is now a Loop Line towards Tanah Abang, there are also changes to the route that interfere with each other, especially because the route to and from Jatinegara to the Bekasi Line KRL is only 1 line, then there are also changes in settings the line where the Bekasi Line train is no longer on lines I, II, and III but on lines VI, VII, VIII, the number of trains which were originally 792 trains per day was reduced to 760 trains per day, the station headway which was originally 1,681 minutes was reduced to 1,294 minutes, and station capacity from 599 trains per day increased to 778 trains per day.
