Abstract
Safety issues in the city of Salatiga need attention because arterial roads have a high volume of vehicles so that they are prone to accidents. Based on observations, the Salatiga Ring Road section has the highest incidence rate caused by human factors and infrastructure factors, inadequate road equipment facilities, faded and damaged signs. and appropriate use of all facilities, infrastructure, and human resources as transportation providers. This study compares the improvement of safety on the Salatiga Ring Road (STA 7-8) Salatiga City with the existing conditions with the causal factors and provides solutions regarding the optimization of infrastructure on the Salatiga Ring Road (STA 7-8)
