Abstract

The accident in 2022 that occurred on the KH. Mansyur road was 19 accidents with 9 victims and 6 of them were students. Accidents are caused by the lack of safety support facilities and the unavailability of travel routes for students to / returning from school for students who walk and users of school / public transportation modes in accordance with the concept of Safe Safe Routes for School. The purpose of this research is to analyze the need for safe facilities for students who attend school in the study area, especially on Jalan KH.Mansyur. The data used in this study is primary data obtained from surveys in the form of road inventory data, traffic volume data and pedestrian data. While the secondary data in the form of a map of the land network and land use. The results showed that the capacity on the KH.Mansyur road is 2225.28, based on the V/C ratio calculation table, it is known that the KH.Mansyur road with a V/C ratio value of 0.26 for direction 1 and 0.27 for direction 2 is it means the service level is "B", the required safety facilities are crossing facilities and widening of the sidewalks, pedestrian facilities above need to be held widening of the sidewalk by 2.03 for the right side and left side of the road.
