Abstract

The Inpres Market is the center of community activities in the Manggarai Regency. The number of activities carried out in the Inpres Market area resulted in a high volume of traffic in the Inpres Market area. With the high traffic volume and the many community activities, several problems arise, especially transportation problems, namely congestion. This research aims to analyze the current traffic performance in the Presidential Instruction Market, organize and engineer traffic in the Presidential Instruction Market area in order to improve traffic performance in the Presidential Instruction Market area. Efforts have been made in the form of pedestrian facilities planning, parking arrangements and arrangements for loading and unloading goods transport activities in the Inpres Market area. In this study, traffic management analysis methods were carried out in the form of performance analysis of roads and intersections, parking arrangements, pedestrian facilities planning and arrangement of loading and unloading activities of goods transport. Traffic performance resulting from the proposed scenario is to produce a value of V/C ratio of , speed on the road and traffic density.
