Abstract

Abstract Bengkulu City is located on the west coast of Sumatra Island which is directly opposite the Indonesian Ocean. Bengkulu City has an area of ​​539.3 km², covering 9 sub-districts and 67 urban villages. In 2021 the population in Bengkulu City is 374,694 people. The proportion of vehicle volume for bicycles in Bengkulu City is 3.1% where on average people use bicycles to exercise and get around along the coast. Then for the number of bicycle mode users per day as many as 130 to 183 bicycle mode users who cross the coastal area on the Tourism Road (Results of the Traffic Counting Survey of the Bengkulu City PKL Team). This Tourism Road has a busy traffic flow because this Tourism Road is the main access to the Long Beach tourism object. So there are many vehicles that cross this Tourism Road section. In planning the bicycle lane, it uses a comparative analysis of road performance in the form of road capacity and level of service level of service before and after the bicycle lane is equipped with routes and designs for bicycle lanes. The purpose of this study is to recommend the design of bicycle lanes, to analyze the performance of the roads used for road routes, to analyze the comparison of roads before and after the existence of bicycle lanes, and to provide sign and marking facilities in accordance with bicycle user safety standards. Keyword : transportation, bicycle, bike path Abstrak Kota Bengkulu terletak di pesisir barat Pulau Sumatera yang berhadapan langsung dengan Samudera Indonesia. Kota Bengkulu memliki luas wilayah 539,3 km², meliputi 9 kecamatan dan 67 kelurahan. Pada tahun 2021 jumlah penduduk di Kota Bengkulu yaitu sebesar 374.694 jiwa. Pada proporsi volume kendaraan untuk sepeda di Kota Bengkulu yaitu sebesar 3,1% dimana rata-rata orang menggunakan sepeda untuk berolahraga dan berkeliling sepanjang pantai. Kemudian untuk jumlah pengguna moda sepeda perhari sebanyak 130 sampai 183 pengguna moda sepeda yang melintasi Kawasan pantai pada Jalan Pariwisata (Hasil Survei Traffic Counting Tim PKL Kota Bengkulu). Jalan Pariwisata ini memiliki arus lalu lintas yang ramai dikarenakan Jalan Pariwisata ini merupakan akses utama menuju obyek wisata Pantai Panjang. Sehingga ramai kendaraaan yang melintasi ruas Jalan Pariwisata ini. Dalam perencanaan jalur sepeda menggunakan analisis perbandingan kinerja ruas jalan berupa kapasitas jalan dan tingkat pelayanan Level Of Service sebelum dan sesudah adanya jalur sepeda dilengkapi rute dan desain untuk jalur sepeda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merekomendasikan desain jalur sepeda, melakukan Analisa kinerja ruas jalan yang digunakan untuk rute jalan, menganalisa perbandingan ruas jalan sebelum dan sesudah adanya jalur sepeda, serta menyediakan fasilitas rambu dan marka sesuai dengan standar keselamatan pengguna sepeda.
