Abstract

Magetan Regency is one of the regencies located in East Java. Magetan Regency is served by 4 urban transportation routes. However, the low interest of the public in using urban transportation causes urban transportation drivers to be reluctant to operate their transportation so it’s load factor lower. The low level of urban transport operations causes the performance of urban transport services to deteriorate. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the performance of urban transportation services by rationalizing the fleet. The rationalization of the fleet includes the proposed service performance based on the Surat Keputusan Direkotorat Jenderal Perhubungan Darat Nomor 687 Tahun 2002 and takes into account the needs of the fleet. In addition, travel scheduling is carried out in order to create service certainty and rerouting the worst urban transport routes. The results of this study indicate the proposed standard of urban transportation services, the number of fleet requirements, and the proposed route with the worst service performance.
