Abstract

In the city of Malang there are various processing industries for agricultural and plantation products, there are also large industrial factories that are established in the city of Malang. Some of the raw materials for industrial purposes are imported from within the city of Malang, outside the city and on a national scale, therefore Malang City is the destination for entry and exit of raw materials on a large scale and in different locations and times. Due to the absence of a freight transport terminal, many goods vehicles are parked on the side of the road either for resting or loading and unloading of goods, this has a negative impact on the Malang City transportation system, plus the unavailability of a freight terminal node that serves as a place of control and Supervision of freight transportation in Malang City makes the movement of goods transportation irregular in accordance with the specified road class. After analyzing Alternative Location 2 which is in Zone 18 on Jalan Mayjend Sungkono with a total weight of 320.78 and a land area of 3 ha. The results of the analysis of the need for facilities at the terminal are in the form of main facilities and supporting facilities with a total area requirement for terminal facilities of 7,607 m².
