Abstract

Transportation is one of the important elements in supporting human life. The development of transportation in Indonesia is very rapid which is influenced by the increasing activity of the community in transportation. In economic activities, transportation is needed because it can transport basic human needs such as clothing, food, and shelter. Plaosan Vegetable Market is one of the traditional markets in Magetan Regency. The road section in this market is one of the accesses to get to the tourist attractions of Sarangan Lake. The high activity of buying and selling people in this market has resulted in transportation problems, namely the high volume on the Sarangan Highway segment. As a result, congestion occurs, one of which is parking on the road which results in reduced road performance. Therefore, a solution to the problem with parking arrangements is needed. The parking arrangement is done by moving on-street parking to off-street. With a parking arrangement that moves on-street parking to off-street, it can improve road performance and reduce congestion in the Plaosan Vegetable Market area, Magetan Regency.
