Abstract

This research is about on-street parking at Lubuk Besar Market, Central Bangka Regency. some vehicles are still not regularly parked vehicles so that it takes up a larger parking space. So indirectly the condition of on-street parking causes a reduction in the effective width of the road and affects road capacity. The results of on-street parking analysis show that the provision of parking spaces still exceeds the existing parking demand. However, because there is no good parking arrangement, it results in reduced road performance, for example in the existing condition of Jalan Lubuk Besar C2 I with a capacity of 1482.524 (smp/hour), V/C Ratio 0.55, travel speed 26.92 (km/hour) and a density of 30.42 (smp/km). The proposed recommendation is in the form of shifting the parking lot to off-street parking with a total parking area requirement of 618 m². The land needed for parking transfers to off-street parking is fulfilled with the available land of 1400 m² with a parking space requirement of 101 SRP for motorbikes, 16 SRP for passenger cars and 21 SRP for pick-ups. For this reason, the proposal in the form of moving parking into off-street parking can be used as a recommendation from the problem.
