Abstract
Analysis of the influence of the Cilimus Ring Road on traffic performance can be used as a consideration for policy making for the Kuningan Regency government in the development of the road network. In conducting this study, identification of the performance of roads and road networks before and after the operation of the ring road was carried out. The analysis includes analysis of trip generation and attraction, trip distribution, mode selection, and traffic assignment. At the loading stage, the technical aspects identified are the performance of the road network, including: travel time, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and the average speed of the road network. Based on traffic performance analysis in 2021, with the operation of the Cilimus Ring Road, the average v/c ratio decreased from 0.42 to 0.23; an increase in the average network speed from the previous 24.31 km/hour to 27.16 km/hour; a decrease in density from the previous 52.95 pcu/km to 24.09 pcu/km; a decrease in travel time from the previous 4,203 vehicle hours to 2,393 vehicle hours; as well as a decrease in travel distance from the previous 90,135 vehicle-km to 64,875 vehicle-km.
