Abstract

The research focuses on student safety when going to and from school in Banjarnegara Regency. Where student safety is influenced by several factors. The purpose of this study is to identify the condition of traffic safety and security facilities, identify the causes of accidents that often occur in the study area, and provide design proposals for road user facilities. The analytical method used in this study includes analysis of traffic performance and analysis of road safety facilities. This study resulted in a schedule for shuttle vehicle operations, sidewalk installation, application of a protective pelican crossing, application of ZoSS, and application of kiss and ride as an embodiment of the design and proposed educational area with the concept of RASS.
