Abstract

Ponorogo Regency is a regency located in the westernmost part of East Java and borders the province of Central Java. Seloaji terminal owned by Ponorogo district is the largest type A terminal in the residency area of Madiun, Seloaji Terminal is located on Arif Rahman Hakim Street and Seloaji Street, has an entrance on Arif Rahman Hakim Street and an exit on Seloaji Street, the existence of the Seloaji terminal which has just been inaugurated In 2017, the traffic circulation around it also had to be renewed because with the Seloaji terminal, the roads around the terminal were affected by the existence of this terminal. The number of vehicles coming out of the Seloaji terminal and the absence of a median opening on the Seloaji road section have forced vehicles leaving the terminal to have to go against the direction to enter the left lane. Seeing this condition, it is necessary to renew the circulation of vehicles in the Seloaji Terminal area so that the safety of vehicle drivers and also passengers of public transport can be guaranteed and the circulation of vehicles around the Seloaji terminal is regular. The vehicle circulation arrangement that is applied must consider the impact on traffic performance after the arrangement, based on the results of the analysis, the scenario applied can regulate the circulation of vehicles in the Seloaji terminal area for the better, vehicles leaving the terminal can immediately turn right without going against the flow because some the median is removed so that the vehicle can directly enter the left lane. The addition of safety facilities at the Terminal intersection will also have an impact on improving the performance of the intersection and increasing the safety of motorized vehicle drivers. In the implementation of this scenario, support from all relevant parties is absolutely necessary so that the Ponorogo Regency government is able to build regional transportation to be more advanced and developed.
