Abstract
The existence of intersections is unavoidable in the urban transportation system, the intersection is a meeting point for traffic flows from various directions which will affect the performance of the intersection, therefore why the intersection must be considered because it is related to the smooth flow of existing traffic. When a conflict occurs at an intersection, it not only causes problems but can harm other road users because it can hinder the activities to be carried out, the parameters used to assess the performance of a signalized intersection include the capacity of the intersection, the degree of saturation, delays and queues. The Jetak intersection is a signaled 4th intersection with the foot of the north intersection (North Ring Road) the south leg (West Ring Road III) the east leg (Jalan Kudus - Jepara III) the foot of the west intersection (Jalan Kudus - Jepara IV) which is the meeting point for traffic flows traffic from Kudus Regency to Jepara Regency and vice versa. Simpang Jetak consists of 4 phases with 118 cycle times. Tanjung Intersection is a signalized 5th junction with the foot of the north junction (Jalan Sentot Prawirodirjo and Jalan Kudus – Purwodadi I) the foot of the south junction (Jalan Kudus – Purwodadi II) toe of the east junction (East Ring Road III) to the foot of the west junction (East Ring Road III) which become a meeting point for traffic flow from Kudus Regency to Grobogan Regency and vice versa. Simpang Jetak consists of 4 phases with 110 cycle times. After performing the performance at the Jetak intersection, the degree of saturation is 0.70, the queue length is 47.25 meters and the delay is 41.11 seconds/pcu. then for the tanjung intersection of 0.71 the queue length is 49 meters and the delay is 46.40 seconds/pcu.
