Abstract

In an effort to improve traffic performance and parking fees in Ciamis Regency, especially on the Ir Juanda and Pioneer Independence roads which are the center of attraction for travel. The increasing volume of vehicles that want to park and the available on-street parking facilities cannot accommodate all vehicles that want to park. The results of on-street parking analysis show that the demand for parking exceeds the provision of existing parking spaces. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange parking around the ciamis district square. In this study, data in the form of primary and secondary data are needed, where primary data obtained from direct observations include: traffic volume data and parking volume. The data collection method to get the parking volume is by recording the vehicle's police license plate every 15 minutes. Based on the analysis of the problem, recommendations for alternative problem solving are obtained in the form of changing the angle, increasing the length of the parking lot, and moving on-street parking to off-street.
