Abstract

Bangsalsari road is included in the road network within Jember Regency which has the status of a national road and functions as an arterial road, Jalan Bangsalsari is 6.5 km long with road type 2/2UD, and the road width is 12 m. This road is used by many vehicles that will enter the administrative center of Jember Regency which is dominated by large vehicles. Roads that are quite wide, allow road users to speed up their vehicles, less than optimal street lighting at night, behavior of drivers who do not comply with traffic regulations and the lack of existing road infrastructure facilities make this road an accident-prone area. Along the Jalan Bangsalsari section, there are side barriers that are not too high where the types of side barriers are settlements and shops which are still relatively sparsely populated, so that community activities on this road are not too high. With environmental conditions that have side barriers, namely settlements and shops.
