Abstract

Kiaracondong Station is a large class train station in the city of Bandung. And it is included in the working area of the Bandung Class I Railway Engineering Center. Because this station is a large station, making this station a destination station and of course there are also many passengers, therefore it is necessary to provide comfortable and safe services, so that passengers can still use train transportation comfortably. However, there are still service facilities that are not yet adequate. minimum service standards, therefore it is necessary to optimize facilities that are not suitable and in poor condition. It is necessary to evaluate and improve these service facilities based on Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 63 of 2019 concerning Minimum Service Standards for Transporting People by Train. Kiaracondong Station still has problems related to service facilities, namely inadequate parking, namely only available parking for 2-wheeled vehicles, so improvements need to be made so that parking is available for 4-wheeled vehicles and must also be regulated regarding the flow of vehicles entering and leaving when parking and then seating, in the boarding waiting room area because there are no seats in the waiting room which makes passengers uncomfortable and the use of a low platform makes passengers not free when on the platform and for supporting facilities such as the length of the platform canopy which does not match the length of the platform which is only 150 meters while the platform length is 200 meters. Therefore, it is necessary to plan a layout design related to passenger service facilities that are not yet available and not suitable.
