Abstract

Railway maintenance is carried out to maintain the condition of the railway in accordance with operating standards and serve railway facilities by carrying out periodic maintenance, which includes daily maintenance, monthly maintenance and annual maintenance. Periodic maintenance includes preventive measures and replacement measures according to the technical age of the railroad. For curve maintenance, in general the tools used in treatment are Multi Tie Temper (MTT), Hand Tie Temper (HTT), and Manual. Construction on railroads is not always built straight, some are also built curved. On the Cikarang – Cikampek route there are 81 arches. The curve with the smallest radius on the Cikarang – Cikampek highway has a radius of 568 and is located on the Kedunggedeh – Karawang road plot KM 56+939 – 57+269. On the curve with the smallest radius on the Cikarang - Cikampek highway, there is a discrepancy between the results of the height maintenance and arrows with the existing register, and maintenance still uses Hand Tie Temper (HTT). Therefore, in order to maintain the safety of train travel and increase passenger comfort, optimal maintenance must be carried out
