Abstract

Abstarct Railways are one of the modes of transportation in the national transportation system which has special advantages, especially in its ability to carry both passengers and goods en masse. In line with the prospects for railways, it is only natural that the advantages possessed can be utilized optimally. In the planning that will be carried out, facilities are one of the factors that become the fulcrum in the operation of the railway. Train passengers on the Cikarang - Cikampek route have increased significantly every year, as can be seen from the number of passengers on the Walahar and Jatiluhur trains that operating on the Cikarang - Cikampek route which has increased every year. In the National Railways Master Plan (RIPNas), the electrification program on the Cikarang-Cikampek line is programmed to be completed in 2025. In line with that, a study is needed on the need for facilities to transport passengers who are moving along the Cikarang-Cikampek route. In this study, the results obtained are the number of facilities needed and how many trips need to be made by KRL in order to be able to transport passengers on the Cikarang - Cikampek route based on the number of passengers who do mobility on the Cikarang - Cikampek route every day. The results obtained are expected to be a consideration for PT. KCI as the Jabodetabek commuter train operator. Keyword : Train, KRL JR 205, Cikarang-Cikampek
