Abstract
The transportation sector is important to the environment. Especially now that those without private vehicles have access to public transportation as a substitute. Because the cost is still affordable to the public, especially for passenger transportation services, the public is becoming increasingly interested in this mode of transportation. Locomotives are one of the railroad facilities. Based on historical data of damage at the Yogyakarta Locomotive Depot in 2022 to May 2023, it is known that there are still frequent disruptions to locomotives which result in not maximizing operations and even breakdowns on the way as a result of which there is a share of delays from 13 minutes to 156 minutes. This study aims to determine the maintenance actions of components that experience interference in locomotives with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and to determine the possible causes of failure and the consequences caused by dominant interference in CC204 locomotives. This research uses reliability centered maintenance where the analysis carried out is in the form of analysis of data processing starting from the functional block diagram. next is the determination of system and functional failures, by looking for the value of risk priority number and failure mode and effect analysis. After that, logic tree analysis which functions to prioritize each damage mode and conduct a review of the function, and finally provide a proposed maintenance action policy. The results of the research can be taken action on the components of the CC204 locomotive fault, there are 7 components that can be carried out maintenance actions with time directed and 1 component carried out condition directed actions. Furthermore, the results of this study also explain the possibility of failure and the consequences caused by each component that has been discussed.
