Abstract

In the Asean Station electrical room there are AC and DC voltage sources. When the main AC source experiences interference which causes a blackout, as in August 2019, the Jakarta MRT experienced this condition, then what acts as a supply for the system startup needs is a DC source, namely the battery, the battery will supply voltage to the equipment in every electrical room at the MRT Station. Jakarta so that the operating equipment at the station continues to work, therefore the function of the battery at the substation is soIimportantIthatIit needsIto be maintained and maintained by testing the battery capacity. Method of measuring the voltage per cell before use and during the discharging process and capacity testing so that we can determine the voltage and current entering the 110 Volt DC battery in the Electrical Room of the Asean MRT Jakarta Station. BasedIonIthe researchIresults, itIshowsIthatIthere are - 2.287V, - 2.285V, and -2.782V in cells 10, 11 and 54 which have inverted polarity due to cable installation errors. Overall, the results of testingItheIcapacity of the 110 Volt DCIbattery in the Electric Room of the Asean MRT Jakarta Station can be said to be feasible and acceptable because after testing the battery capacity is still above the minimum according to IEEE and PLN standards. The battery has an efficiency of 82% and a battery capacity of 161.12 Ah, which is capable of providing a DC power source for 80.56 hours when a blackout occurs in the Electric Room of the Asean MRT Jakarta Station.
