Abstract

Jalan Raya Singapadu is in Sukawati District. It is one of the routes that connects Sukawati District with Ubud District. Jalan Raya Singapadu is located in Gianyar District and has a road length of 2.640 m, with road type 2/2 UD. It has an effective road width of 6.2 m. Jalan Raya Singapadu is one of the top 5 DRK in Gianyar Regency. Jalan Raya Singapadau ranks 3rd with 14 accidents. On this section of road there are also several problems such as damaged and bumpy pavement, faded markings, and no signs at T-junctions. Based on data from the Gianyar Regency Police, accidents on the Singapadu Highway section were mostly caused by driver negligence. The purpose of writing this research is to identify the characteristics of accidents. Handling efforts, suggestions and recommendations on the Singapadu Road section include adding street lighting, providing counseling or outreach about the importance of safety in driving and being orderly in traffic, suppressing the use of motorized vehicles to switch to public transportation, adding warning sign facilities, repairing and maintaining road markings, adding warning signs and slogans, as well as providing noise tape so that drivers can focus on driving again
