Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country which of course has tourist attractions. One of the regions in Indonesia that has tourism attractions is Cilegon City. Based on the number of tourist visits in the last 5 years, tourists have experienced very rapid development from year to year. Data was obtained that on holidays many train passengers get off at Merak Station whose purpose is to travel. However, from Merak Station to the intended tourist attraction, there is no availability of tourist transportation that connects tourist attractions in Cilegon City. So that it makes it difficult for tourists to reach freely. There are several tourist locations that are often visited by tourists, namely the Tomb of Sheikh Jamalludin, Merak Kecil Island, Merak Beach, Situ Rawa Arum, and Krakatau Water World. This study aims to analyze potential demand, route determination, vehicle type selection, operational system, vehicle operating costs and fare determination. Based on the results of the analysis of potential demand of tourists, this tourist transportation has 1 route with a starting and ending point at Merak Station with a route length of 16.4 km. Tourist transportation uses medium buses with a capacity of 30 passengers, operating on holidays only starting from 09.30 to 18.30 WIB. The fare plan to be set is Rp 10,000.
