Abstract

The increase in the number of passengers at Alalak Pier every year requires special attention from the Banjarmasin City Transportation Department in order to improve the quality of transportation facilities and infrastructure in order to facilitate economic and social activities. The current condition of Alalak Pier is that public transportation is not yet served, this makes it difficult for passengers to get to/from Alalak Pier. Therefore, mode-integrating transportation is needed as access both to and from Alalak Pier. This research aims to analyze how much potential demand there is and plan the operational system and modal integration transportation rates at Alalak Pier. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, it is found that the potential passenger demand on weekdays is 2,286 passengers and 2,046 passengers on holidays. The mode-integrating transport route is Alalak Pier – Antasari Terminal. The service time is 18 hours following the pier's operational hours, namely from 05.00 to 23.00. The fleet that will be used is a small bus with a capacity of 19 passengers and the fare that will be applied is IDR 6,000, travel time is 32 minutes, headway on weekdays is 12.6 minutes and headway on holidays is 14 minutes and the number of fleet required is as many as 3 units.
