Abstract

Especially in urban areas which have a high concentration of human activity. Educational areas, such as those in the city of Palangka Raya, often face their own challenges in managing traffic flow due to the high volume of routine human and vehicle movements, especially at peak times, such as those commonly known as school leaving hours, school break times and school hours. after school. In response to this problem, it is necessary to carry out in-depth research to better understand the factors that influence traffic performance in the Palangka Raya City educational area. This research uses secondary data obtained from the Palangka Raya PKL Team. The data analysis technique carried out in this research uses the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines. From the results of calculating the current volume, speed, capacity, degree of saturation and level of road service, we can find out the performance of the road section (Elwanda & Utama, 2024). As well as using correlation tests, multiple linear regression tests, and classical assumption tests. The results of this research show that the factors that influence the performance of vehicle sections are medium, effective width, shoulder width, and side obstacles and the factors that influence the performance of the APILL intersection are approach width, queue length, phase ratio, degree of saturation.
