Abstract

"The railway track section from Km 40+950 to 41+500 on the Citayam–Nambo route has undergone changes in technical specifications of the track geometry, resulting in changes in design and gradient values on the track which may affect the safety and security of train travel. In accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 30 of 2011, it is mandatory to conduct the initial re-testing of the railway track to ensure its fitness on the section from Km 40+950 to 41+500 on the Citayam–Nambo route." "The objective of the re-conducted initial testing on the railway track section from Km 40+950 to 41+500 on the Citayam–Nambo route is to assess the testing implementation and analyze the data from the first railway track test to ensure the fitness of the railway track on the section from Km 40+950 to 41+500 on the Citayam–Nambo route based on Ministerial Regulation No. 60 of 2012. The analysis of the test data is conducted both qualitatively and quantitatively." "The results of the railway track testing at Km 40+950–41+500 on the Citayam–Nambo route indicate that there are differences in the layout design between the existing pre-work and post-work conditions. The initial testing of the railway track involved various types of physical design tests and functional tests. However, in the physical design tests for drainage, there is a need for testing parameters for drainage dimensions according to applicable standards. The conformity of the railway track testing data analysis results based on Ministerial Regulation No. 60 of 2012 must be maintained by performing maintenance or making improvements to the railway track that do not comply with the applicable standards."
