Abstract

Abstract This study focuses on the reorganization of Route 6 of TransPakuan in Bogor City with the aim of improving operational performance and the quality of public transportation services. Bogor City, known for its high congestion levels, requires more efficient and effective transportation solutions. The background of this study includes the low number of passengers and load factor on Route 6, and the need for service improvements in terms of accessibility, efficiency, and comfort. Additionally, this study considers competition with other transportation modes such as online motorcycle taxis and the lack of integration with other transportation modes such as KRL (commuter rail). The main objective of this study is to optimize the performance of TransPakuan Route 6 by analyzing the current operational performance, developing strategies to increase the load factor, and reorganizing the route network based on demand. The research methods used include the collection of primary and secondary data, analysis of existing performance, and simulation of proposed routes. Performance evaluation is conducted by comparing current operational data with minimum service standards. The results of the study show that by adjusting the service patterns to better meet demand, the load factor and number of passengers can be significantly increased. The proposed route shows improvements in operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction compared to the existing route. This study concludes that the reorganization of Route 6 of TransPakuan is necessary to improve transportation services in Bogor City. The implementation of this reorganization strategy is expected to reduce congestion and enhance the quality of life for residents through better public transportation services. The recommendations provided can serve as a reference for policymakers in designing sustainable and responsive public transportation improvement strategies.
