Abstract
Transportasi perkeretaapian merupakan suatu kesatuan sistem yang terdiri dari prasarana, sarana, sumber daya manusia (SDM),peralatan, norma,kriteria serta,persyaratan,dan prosedur untuk penyelengaraan transportasi kereta api. Moda transportasi perkeretaapian memperlancar dalam rangka pemindahan orang dan/atau barang dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain dengan tepat waktu, tertib, aman, nyaman,efisien dan selamat. Teknologi semakin berkembang seiring berkembangnya zaman, tidak terkecuali pada bidang transportasi perkeretaapian. Kini mulai berkembang transportasi perkeretaapian dengan teknologi modern di Provinsi DKI Jakarta.
