Abstract

A train station is a train operating facility or a place where trains stop regularly to pick up passengers or unload goods. This research was carried out at one of the stations in the East Java Region Railway Engineering Center, which is in Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency. Tarik Station is a station that has quite a lot of passengers. In 2019, the number of passengers at the Tarik station was 92,621 passengers, in addition to the area around the Tarik station there were several food factories and manufacturing factories. Therefore, most of the passengers who get on and off at the Tarik station carry out work activities. The current condition of passenger service facilities at the Tarik station is still inadequate and does not meet the minimum service standards based on PM No. 63 of 2019. Based on the survey results, it can be concluded that passenger rush hour occurs between 05.00 – 07.00, namely on boarding and alighting passengers on the Local Economy Train at 05:54 and the Dhoho Train at 05:59 with 85 passengers. Based on the results of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) analysis, it is obtained that several service facilities have a very high level of importance but their performance level is still low. Based on the results of the calculation of the value of the Customer Satisfaction Index, the resulting calculation value is 0.70 which is in the interval 0.66-0.80 which means that train passengers at the Pull Station are satisfied with the existing service performance.
