Abstract
ABSTRACT This research o find out the planning of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Sukabumi City. The growth in the number of private vehicles increased significantly. However, the inadequacy of public transport facilities and many dead public transport routes are often the main reasons why people continue to use private vehicles. So the authors conducted research on the planning of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) which aims to determine the demand for public transportation, type of vehicle, fleet size, Vehicle Operating Costs and appropriate public transport fares in Sukabumi City. The methods used in this research are demand analysis method, route determination method, and vehicle operation analysis. The data used are primary data obtained from survey results in the field and secondary data obtained from relevant agencies. The results of the analysis of this study show that the Pessimis demand for public transportation is 5.616 people/day, with interest in moving people from private vehicles to public transportation by 8.025 people/day.The type of vehicle used is a bus with a capacity of 30 seats. The number of fleets according to pessimis demand is 10 vehicles. The cost of BOK/km is Rp. 4.715,- and the passenger fare for one-way BRT transportation is Rp. 3.500,-. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perencanaan Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) di Kota Sukabumi. Pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan pribadi meningkat signifikan. Namun, Fasilitas angkutan umum yang tidak memadai dan banyaknya trayek angkutan umum yang mati seringkali menjadi alasan utama masyarakat tetap menggunakan kendaraan pribadi. Maka penulis melakukan penelitian tentang perencanaan Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui permintaan angkutan umum, jenis kendaraan, kuran armada, biaya operasional kendaraan dan tarif angkutan yang sesuai di Kota Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis permintaan, metode penentuan rute, dan analisis operasi kendaraan. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil survei di lapangan dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari instansi terkait. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa permintaan pesimis angkutan umum adalah 5.616 orang/hari, dengan minat perpindahan orang dari kendaraan pribadi ke angkutan umum sebesar 8.025 orang/hari. Jenis kendaraan yang digunakan adalah bus sedang dengan kapasitas 30 tempat duduk. Jumlah armada yang sesuai permintaan pesimis adalah 10 kendaraan. Biaya BOK/km adalah Rp. 4.715,- dan tarif penumpang untuk angkutan BRT sekali jalan adalah Rp. 3.500,-.
