Abstract

ABSTRAK PENENTUAN TITIK LOKASI TERMINAL TIPE C DI KABUPATEN SUMEDANG Oleh Suciwati Nomor Taruna: 21.02.348 Transportasi merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam mendukung mobilitas masyarakat dan menjadi urat nadi perekonomian pada suatu wilayah. Fasilitas prasarana dan infrastruktur yang memadai sangat dibutuhkan guna menunjang kelancaran berbagai aktivitas masyarakat. Salah satu fasilitas transportasi yang diperlukan adalah terminal angkutan orang tipe C sebagai simpul dan pergantian moda transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merencanakan titik lokasi terminal tipe C di Kabupaten Sumedang dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai kriteria dari titik-titik lokasi usulan seperti kinerja ruas jalan, ketersediaan lahan, aksesibilitas, dan biaya investasi awal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode CPI (Composite Performance Index) untuk menentukan titik lokasi yang paling sesuai berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Metode CPI (Composite Performance Index) dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai kriteria penilaian menjadi satu indeks kinerja komposit. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi; kinerja ruas jalan, aksesibilitas, kelestarian lingkungan, ketersediaan lahan, dan biaya investasi awal. Hasil penelitian menunjukn bahwa lokasi optimal untuk terminal tipe C di Kabupaten Sumedang berada di area yang memiliki keseimbangan antara satu kriteria dengan kriteria lainnya. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi rekomendasi pemecahan masalah dalam menentukan titik lokasi terminal tipe C di Kabupaten Sumedang, serta menjadi acuan pemerintah daerah dalam merencanakan pengembangan prasarana dan infrastruktur transportasi yang lebih baik. Kata kunci: Terminal tipe C, titik lokasi terminal, CPI (Composite Performance Index) ABSTRACT Transport is one of the important aspects in supporting community mobility and is the lifeblood of the economy in an area. Adequate infrastructure and infrastructure facilities are needed to support the smooth running of various community activities. One of the transport facilities needed is a type C people transport terminal as a node and change of transportation modes. This research aims to plan the location of type C terminals in Sumedang Regency by considering various criteria of the proposed location points such as road section performance, land availability, accessibility, and initial investment costs. The method used in this research is the CPI (Composite Performance Index) method to determine the most suitable location point based on predetermined criteria. The CPI (Composite Performance Index) method was chosen because of its ability to integrate various assessment criteria into one composite performance index. The criteria used in this study include; road section performance, accessibility, environmental sustainability, land availability, and initial investment costs. The results showed that the optimal location for type C terminals in Sumedang Regency is in an area that has a balance between one criterion and another. This research is expected to be a problem-solving recommendation in determining the location point of type C terminals in Sumedang Regency, as well as a reference for local governments in planning the development of better transport infrastructure and infrastructure.
