Abstract

The construction of the Kiaracondong Station Skybridge is a crucial component of the Kiaracongong-Cicalengka Double Track Railway Project. Due to the elevated nature of the construction and its proximity to an existing railway line, there is a high potential for hazards and accidents, particularly given the lack of compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among workers. This study evaluates the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practices by identifying hazards, assessing risk levels, and developing risk control measures. A descriptive method combining qualitative and semi-quantitative risk assessment was employed. This method analyzes and assesses risks by comparing the likelihood and consequences of potential events. The results identified various risks with varying levels of severity. Risk control measures were implemented using the hierarchy of controls, including elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, and the use of PPE.
