Abstract

It is known that Mempawah Regency itself does not have school transportation, with a fairly large area and of course many schools spread across each sub-district, which can facilitate student pick-up activities. With the existence of school transportation in Mempawah Regency, it can save costs, socialize, reduce traffic density and save fuel, and of course reduce the number of accidents in students. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, it is known that the actual demand for school transportation is 559 students and 1656 students for potential demand. The planned route for the operation of school transportation is divided into 3 different routes, namely : a. Route 1 (18.8 km) serve : Sungai Street – Raya Sungai Bakau Besar Laut Street – Daeng Manambon Street – Raden Kusno Street – Gst Abdul Hamid Street – Gst M Taufik Street, b. Route 2 (14.7 km) serve : Raya Sungai Kunyit Street – Raya Sengkubang Street – Raya Penibung Street – Gst Sulung Lelanang Street – Gst M Taufik Street – Gst Abdul Hamid Street – Raden Kusno Street – Daeng Manambon Street, c. Route 3 (5.3 km) serve : Bardan Nadi Street – Adiwijaya Street – Gst M Taufik Street – Gst Abdul Hamid Street – Raden Kusno Street – Daeng Manambon Street. The type of mode used is based on the demand for school transport passengers is a medium bus with a capacity of 30 people.
