Abstract
ABSTRACT The Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima Cross is a freight train under the auspices of the Class II Railway Engineering Center for the Western Sumatra Region. The Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima route has a length of 8.433 Km sp with freight trains transporting cement and clinker. The frequency of trains that pass this route is 42 frequencies per day.The existing condition of rail infrastructure, especially the condition of the rails on the Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima route, was found to be damaged. With such conditions, it is necessary to evaluate to improve the rail line infrastructure to support the operation of the train. The method used in this research is to identify the type of rail component damage and calculate the passing tonnage.The method used is based on the identification of the Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima crossing that does not meet the technical specifications. The results obtained from the calculation of the carrying capacity of the Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima route are 2,792,303 Tons/Year which is classified as road class I. It is necessary to increase the maintenance of the infrastructure for the Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima rail line. Keywords: Train Frequency, Existing Condition, Line Improvement ABSTRAK Lintas Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima merupakan lintas kereta api barang di bawah naungan kerja Balai Teknik Perkeretaapian Kelas II Wilayah Sumatera Bagian Barat. Lintas Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima memiliki panjang lintas 8,433 Km sp dengan dilewati kereta api barang yang mengangkut semen dan klingker. Frekuensi kereta yang melewati lintas ini sebanyak 42 frekuensi perharinya. Kondisi eksisting prasana jalur rel terutama kondisi rel di lintas Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima banyak ditemukan kerusakan. Dengan kondisi yang sedemikian rupa perlunya dilakukan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan prasarana jalur rel guna mendukung pengoperasian kereta api. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan mengidentifikasi kerusakaan jenis komponen jalan rel dan melakukan perhitungan passing tonnage. Metode yang dilakukan berdasarkan identifikasi lintas Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima banyak yan tidak sesuai spesifikasi teknis. Hasil yang didapatkan dari perhitungan daya angkut lintas Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima sebesar 2.792.303 Ton/Tahun yang mana dikalsifikasikan dalam kelas jalan I. Perlu dilakukan adanya peningkatan penjagaan perbaikan prasarana jalur rel lintas Bukit Putus-Pauh Lima.
