Abstract
ABSTRAK Ruas jalan Daerah Rawan Kecelakaan berada di Kota Pekalongan dengan status jalan nasional dan jalan kota dengan fungsi jalan arteri primer serta kolektor primer. Dengan kondisi yang ada, ruas jalan tersebut memiliki masalah yaitu angka kecelakaan lalu lintas yang tinggi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor penyebab kecelakaan, analisis kecepataan sesaat, analisis jarak pandang henti, di akhiri dengan upaya peningkatan keselamatan. Faktor utama penyebab terjadi kecelakaan ialah faktor manusia dengan beberapa kriteria yaitu kurangnya antisipasi, kuranganya konsenterasi, mengantuk, melanggar peraturan, kurang terampil dalam berkendara, dan melebihi batas kecepatan. Untuk faktor prasarana jalan terdapat jalan gelombong serta berlubang. Diharapkan dengan melakukan upaya penanganan keselamatan dari permasalahan tersebut dapat mengurangi angka kecelakaan lalu lintas dan tingkat keparahan korban kecelakaan pada ruas jalan Daerah Rawan Kecelakaan di Kota Pekalongan. Kata Kunci: Lalu lintas, Kecelakaan, Keselamatan. ABSTRACK Roads for Accident Prone Areas are located in Pekalongan City with the status of national roads and city roads with primary arterial and primary collector functions. With the existing conditions, the road section has a problem, namely the high number of traffic accidents. The analysis used is an analysis of the factors that cause accidents, analysis of instantaneous speed, analysis of stopping sight distance, ending with efforts to increase safety. The main factor causing accidents is the human factor with several criteria, namely lack of anticipation, lack of concentration, drowsiness, violation of regulations, lack of skill in driving, and exceeding the speed limit. For road infrastructure factors, there are bubble roads and potholes. It is hoped that by making efforts to deal with safety from these problems it can reduce the number of traffic accidents and the severity of accident victims on road sections in Accident Prone Areas in Pekalongan City.
