Abstract

In order to improve the performance of Public Transport in Nganjuk Regency, it is necessary to organize the Rural Transport network and operations in Nganjuk Regency in order to create safe, comfortable, orderly and orderly transportation. This study was carried out with the support of several primary data and secondary data. Secondary data includes maps of public transport routes in Nganjuk Regency, existing public transport network performance and operational data, OD Matrix data, traffic volume data, public transport inventory data, population data, road inventory data, public transport demand data, land use data and for Primary Data, namely data on customer satisfaction with public transportation services. Meanwhile, indicators of network performance include the level of route overlap, level of route deviation, service coverage, route density, public transport ratio, and indicators of operational performance, namely frequency, headway, load factor, travel speed, travel time. The results of improving the performance of the transport surveyed show that indicators of network performance and operational performance have increased and can meet applicable regulatory standards as well as the determination of public transport tariffs which are adjusted to the Vehicle Operating Costs (BOK) of each route.
