Abstract

Gianyar Regency has been growing rapidly over the past few years in terms of tourism, especially in Ubud District, which has become one of the best tourist attractions on the island of Bali. But this is the cause of various traffic problems such as congestion, density, and traffic accidents, especially at intersections in Ubud District. The intersection that often occurs is the Teges unsignalized intersection as an important traffic flow in Ubud. Based on this, an analysis of the performance of the Teges intersection was carried out using the 1997 MKJI reference and obtained a degree of saturation (DS) value of 0.84, a queue length of 70 m and a delay of 15.16 sec / smp with a level of service C. Then for the type of control based on Australian Road Research. Then for the type of control based on the Australian Road Research Board (ARRB) that this intersection is more suitable to use a signaled type. Then after the experiment was carried out, it was found that the best improvement at this teges intersection was a 2-phase APILL with a long-term additional proposal option, namely road widening.
