Abstract
Abstract Palangka Raya City is the capital of Central Kalimantan Province. There are many APILL intersections in Palangka Raya City with small distance between intersections. The distance between adjacent intersections creates its own problems, because vehicles must always stop at each intersection because always get a red light. This condition occurrs at Simpang G. Obos – MH. Tamrin, Simpang Bundaran Kecil, and Simpang Diponegoro - Tambun Bungai. The aim of this research is improving performance and level of service at the three intersections in order to people can get through the three intersections smoothly and decrease the occurrence of conflicts.The required data are traffic volume at the intersection, queue length and delay, intersection geometric, and cycle time at the three intersections. This method is carried out to know the performance of existing intersection, the performance of optimization intersection, and the performance of coordination intersection. Next, weighting is carried out to determine the best performance of the three intersections. Based on the research results, coordination 3 with a cycle time in the amount of 50 seconds with 3 phase settings is selected as the best suggestion. Then each intersection has a small delay value, namely the delay at Simpang G. Obos - MH. Thamrin is 28.52 second/pcu, Simpang Bundaran Kecil is 28.51 second/pcu, and Simpang Diponegoro - Tambun Bungai is 28.57 second/pcu. Keywords : Intersection, Cycle Time, Delay
