Abstract

Treatment and inspection of railway equipment is an action carried out in order to maintain the reliability of the railroad equipment to remain operational. In accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 18 of 2019 on Standards and EquIpment for Railway Equipment Care, it is stated that the Railroad Equipment Service Schedule is classified as 2, periodic maintenance and repairs its function. The objective of this study is to find out the condition of maintenance of railway equipment in the Railway Depot of Maros, to know the course of implementation of care and inspection on the lower frame, as well as to make guidelines for maintenance and daily inspection and 3 monthly frame under the measurement train equipment. The method of this research is to conduct interviews with related parties in this case officers at the Maros Railway Depot as well as literacy methods with related journals. Based on the results of the research, the condition of maintenance and inspection of railway facilities in the Maros Railway Depot is currently assessed as lowest due to the lack of guidelines on maintenance of facilities. State-owned facility care activities in particular are currently working with third parties. Treatment is carried out in the framework of a train measurement SU 3 17 01 at the Railway Depot of Maros consisting of bogie care and inspection activities, braking system, and suspension. On the course of care activities with the number of nurses there as many as 3 people is enough to carry out daily and 3 monthly care.
