Abstract

Transportation is one of the things that influences the development of mankind from the past until now. Transportation itself means moving people or goods from one place to another or from the place of origin to the destination using a vehicle driven by humans, animals or machines. Since ancient times, this has been an important daily activity in a society (Sani, 2010). So it can be said that transportation plays an important role in people's lives. One of the supports for transportation is transportation facilities and infrastructure. Good facilities and infrastructure are basic things that are generally needed by society. Transportation facilities and infrastructure are the most important factors in the movement of goods, services, information and people. One type of transportation that is widespread and common in almost all regions is public transportation. Passenger public transportation is passenger transportation carried out using a rental or payment system and the aim of organizing public transportation is to provide good and appropriate transportation services for the community. (Warpani, 1990)
