Abstract

Transportation is a process of moving people or goods from one place to another. In the process of moving the train as a facility require infrastructure, and human resources, as well as norms, criteria, requirement, and implementation procedure for the implementation of rail transportation. The Sepanjang-Boharan Cross is one of the routes under the auspices of the East Java Regional Railway Engineering Center and has a rail length of 9,700 Km sp. The condition of the infrastructure on this route is not good, there are many damages to the components of the railroad such as rail defects, broken bearings, missing fasteners, less ballast volume, Mud Pumping. The methodology in this planning begins with the collection of primary and secondary data. The result of this research is that the Sepanjang-Boharan route is a class II railroad with a carrying capacity of 12.928.608 tons/year. The need for rail components needed for the Sepanjang-Boharan crossing requires 108 pieces of bearing, 618 fasteners and 9.328,22 m3 of ballast.
