Abstract
Ngrombo Railway Maintenance Center is a technical implementing unit under the auspices of the directorate general of railways responsible for the Ministry of Transportation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which carries out maintenance of state-owned trains which include types of locomotives including cc300 locomotives, self-propelled train including inspection trains and measuring train, trains which include official trains and train dynamic test facilities (FUDIKA), carriages which include flat and open carriages and special equipment such as Multi tie tamper (MTT) and Bridge Inspection Car (BIC). But on This study only discusses maintenance of the self-propelled train includes inspection trains and measuring trains which discuss several problems regarding the lack of a person in charge of facilities during the implementation of monitoring and evaluation due to several measuring trains and inspection trains scattered in various regions in Indonesia, inadequate human resources In addition, there are several problems, such as working hours that have not been maximized according to the standard working hours, then in terms of facilities and equipment for maintenance of self-propelled train, namely the lack of work instructions regarding the use of facilities and equipment used to carry out maintenance of self-propelled train. This study uses the method of literature study or literature research and qualitative descriptive analysis methods. Where later the results will be analyzed about how the process of monitoring and evaluating mobile facilities, the availability of human resources and equipment facilities needed for the implementation of maintenance
