Abstract

In this study the authors took a case study regarding parking arrangements in the Sarasah Bunta Tourism Area. This area is one of the tourism centers. However, due to the vehicle parking area provided for visitors to the Sarasah Bunta Tourism Area, vehicles are still irregular and there is a lack of parking space to accommodate vehicles. So indirectly this parking condition causes a reduction in the effective width of the road on the road and affects its capacity value. The results of the parking analysis show that the provision of parking space still exceeds the demand for existing parking. However, because there is no proper parking arrangement, the irregularly parked vehicles result in reduced road performance. In the recommendations proposed to improve the performance of roads by providing a one-way circulation system and installing signs after that the parking area is expanded with a management system that regulates from parking angles to parking rates.
