Abstract
This research aims to analyze the technological needs and potential locations for Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in the city of Tangerang. The methods used are statistic descriptive analysis, factor analysis, Weight Overlay, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Data were obtained through observation, questionnaires, and interviews with stakeholders as well as SPKLU users, including 4-wheeled electric vehicles. The research results show that the trend of electric vehicles in the City of Tangerang continues to increase, with projections reaching 66.021units by 2030. Factor analysis identifies 6 main criteria for selecting SPKLU, with charging speed as the highest priority. The calculation of fast charging SPKLU needs indicates the necessity for the addition of 5 new units. Spatial analysis uses 5 criteria: road network, number of electric vehicles, existing fast charging stations, population density, and integration with other infrastructure. The AHP weighting results show the road network as the most important criterion (54,7%). The determination of the optimal location for SPKLU was conducted through Weight Overlay analysis in ArcGIS. This research provides recommendations for the development of SPKLU infrastructure in the City of Tangerang, supporting the acceleration program for electric vehicles and the Smart City Masterplan.
